Celebrating heritage 2016-18

The school is working to celebrate the heritage of Sir Arthur Conan Doyle.   Undershaw is now home to our Upper School and we wish to maintain the heritage of the man who both chose the land here in Hindhead and helped design the house which we have the privilege to occupy.   The legacy of Sir Arthur Conan Doyle is known worldwide through the name of Sherlock Holmes, however over the next year we hope to bring you insights to his many and varied talents as: doctor, sportsman, advocate for justice, political campaigner, a traveller of the world and spiritualist.

These events are run by volunteers associated with the school and supported by the generosity of those who support our events both contributors and guests.  MX Publishing continue to support any underlying costs associated with events and donations made on the day support the work of the school directly.

Over 1000 heritage visitors have enjoyed Undershaw since its renovation and today it hosts a lively programme of events for those interested in the great author and the property he built here in Hindhead.
